Thank you and Happy Haunting! Our Design Concept
This unique product is designed to apply to a wide range of applications. Although a seasonal haunted attraction may be the most obvious concept, don’t limit your opportunities to just the Halloween market. A ScAir Structure can generate income all year. This is due to its unique modular design.
Looking at its exterior it is easy to see how this structure can be turned into a haunted attraction. Now take a closer look, the exterior is not shaped like a haunted mansion or other themed design. You can however, attach murals or banners to the front of the structure to give it any look you want and it’s large but low profile, allows you to construct your own “façade”, hiding the original structure partially or completely. The interior does not contain a static design or rigid layout, so you can arrange the rooms and pathways to best suit your needs. And if one structure is not enough, you can link multiple units together to make a larger attraction.

SHIPPING COSTS
Please keep in mind that we cannot provide a shipping estimate without the following information…
- The contents of your order - Shipping costs are initially based on size and weight which means we need to know exactly what products you will be ordering before we can determine the total weight, size and the number of pallets needed for your shipment
- Shipping destination – Your ship to zip code is the next piece of information we will need. Are we shipping across town, across the country or to an international destination?
- Destination Type – this is uniquely important for our customer because all of our shipments are sent on pallets and require special handling. These pallets are on large trucks therefore, if we are shipping to a residence or a location that does not have either a loading dock or forklift than your cost will be higher. The pallets will have to be transferred to a smaller truck that is equipped with a lift-gate and pallet jack.
- Current fuel prices – a large factor in shipping costs is the cast of fuel. Remember we may provide you with a shipping quote when you place your order and when it is ready to ship 6 to 12 weeks later the cost of fuel may have changed dramatically which will change your shipping costs.
In some cases you can avoid paying this extra fee by picking up the shipment at the shippers Hub with your own transportation.
Based on our experience shipping a single ScAir Haunt package from our factory in California to a location near the east coast can cost between $400 and $800. Please use this estimate as a guide only and the only way to determine your specific shipping costs is to call our office with all of the above information.
Making $$$ with your ScAir Structure (ALL YEAR!)
Changing the layout and look of your modular attraction allows you to use it throughout the year in different ways. Here are a few examples…
- Christmas – That’s right! After your haunting season is over, clean it out and get ready for Christmas. This works great if your Halloween location can be reserved through the holiday season. If not, try to partner with a Christmas tree lot or shopping center. The concept is simple; decorate the interior with Christmas lights and decorations. Design a pathway that will lead the children and families through your “Christmas Village” to their final destination…Santa! Santa photos are a great business opportunity and now yours will be more unique than any other in your community. Also remember to decorate the front of your attraction with an attractive holiday mural
- Laser Tag – This is a big craze for the kids and an easy way to make money. Simply set up the structure without any walls inside then send in up to 10 participants with laser tag guns and that’s it! You can also have upgraded packaged that include; foggers, laser lights and music. Now market your product directly to local businesses, churches and organization or work with event planners and local advertising publications to generate business.
- Team Building Games – Very popular and you can search for business just like the laser tag concept, only with a wide range of games to offer using one modular product. Hear are some examples;
- Water Tag – just like laser tag but with soaker type squirt guns
- Bumper Buddies – Have the participants wear oversized inflatable inner tubes around their waists and turn them loose for some human bumper car action!
- Rat Maze – Here you can set up your walls in a confusing pattern and include those dead end hallways. Now with the roof hatches and the doors closed let them find their way from one end to the other. The best time wins. Or split the unit into two sections and make it a race, in the dark!
Of course if haunting is your passion and then remember you can always take your show on the road. Many of our customers operate their attractions year round. Think about it… People always want to be scared and we go to horror movies all year long, why not a haunted house. Since our attractions can be set up and taken down in a matter of hours you can transport your show to fairs, carnivals and special events all over your state. Just set up a simple attraction and charge a few dollars for a tour. This concept can keep you busy throughout the spring and summer. And don’t forget to promote your Halloween attraction while you’re out there!
Schematic
This is a top view schematic for the ScAir Structure. The circles represent the inflated columns. The darker circles represent the two center columns that are 2’ taller (12’) than the rest. This provides room in the attic to rig equipment and to help keep water from forming puddles on the roof. The gaps around the perimeter wall represent the 6 available exits. The 4 dashed boxes represent the roof vents.
Maze Schematic
This view represents the ScAir Structures with a sample pathway in place. Only 20 walls are used for this layout.
2nd Sample Layout
This view represents the ScAir Structure with a different style layout. This format could be used for laser tag, rat maze or other applications. Of course you can layout your floor plan anyway you want since the ScAir Structure is completely modular.

Hallway
This view represents a typical hallway. Under normal circumstances this view would be too dark to view however, in this prototype you can see how the columns line up. All of the columns are approximately 2’ in diameter. All 2’ columns are set approximately 3’ apart in each direction. The walls attach to these columns at the top and bottom to form small rooms and pathways.
Rolled Structure
Here is what your ScAir Structure looks like when it is rolled up and ready for storage and/or transport. Learning how to fold and roll an inflatable structure is an acquired skill. The first couple of times that you attempt this it will be difficult and your end result will be something that looks much bigger and sloppier than this picture. They key is to take your time, get as much air out as possible then roll the folded unit very tightly (like a sleeping bag).
“D” Ring
There are over 500 “D” rings throughout the ScAir Structure. Most are sewn into the leading edges of the vertical columns. Others are sewn into the interior joints where the perimeter columns meet the perimeter horizontal tube, like in this picture. All “D” rings exist so that you can rig your equipment inside. Lighting equipment can be hung from these with carabineers or plastic ties, sound or extension cables can be tied to them and set dressing can be attached to them as well.
Roof Hatch
These pictures represent the roof hatches in both the open and closed positions. We left a corner of the closed hatch open. The hatches are sewn to the roof on one edge and they attach to the other three edges with Velcro.
Exterior Large Tie Down
This is one of the 10 exterior tie downs
Exterior Velcro Framing and Sample Murals
On the exterior of the ScAir Structure there is a strip of Velcro around the face of each side of the structure, like a frame. This exists for a couple reasons. If you wish to add your own look or theme to your attraction you can have murals made to attach to this frame. Simply choose your material and design, create your mural, trim with Velcro and attach to the structure. We suggest that when you design your artwork you use a software program that is vector based, otherwise your design will look pixilated when it is enlarged to the proper size. Some designs may look good on your computer screen however, that image will change its look when it is enlarged to the size of a billboard. Keep your designs simple.
Another use for the Velcro is a little simpler. You can have smaller banners made to attach just at the top strip of Velcro. These banners could also have themed artwork or they could have information on your attraction or they could provide for sponsorship opportunities.
Interior Doors
This series of pictures show the interior doors with close ups of the flaps that connect at the top, as well as, close ups with the wall attached at the top and bottom.
Exterior Doors
These pictures represent the exterior doors on our structures. These door (panels) have Velcro attached to the two long edges and at the top edge. To use a door in the closed position simply attach all edges of the door panel to the exterior door frame of the structure. To utilize the door location as an exit, simply turn the door around and attach only the top part. The doors can also be rolled up and secured or used to attach multiple structures together.

SHIPPING AND PRODUCTION TIME
Our production lead times change throughout the year based on the current production schedule however typically, it runs between six and eight weeks. The entire process however, will take a bit longer. We cannot begin to process an order until we receive a signed invoice and a check for the deposit has cleared.
